Olympic.ca was my ITP thesis project, a platform to enable strangers to connect through games & hobbies. The project was selected to participate in the NYU’s acceleration program. Gary App is the result of Olympi.ca going through that process.

In order to asses Olympi.ca’s problem/solution fit I run several experiments.

NYU Link gave me some of the best insights. For example, once a good match was made, users would then connect without the need for my product.

 

 

To drive traffic to the demo, I run some Facebook ads and hung a few posters in the NYU gym.

 

 

 

And I engaged with potential users early on to better understand their pain points and test early prototypes:
